Welcome to the new Just Ductless site! So glad you came to check us out.
While you are here, how about a free tip on keeping your Ductless system working well?
Be sure to check your ductless filter once every 1-3 months. Be sure to double check your owner’s manual for specific recommendations. Remember, regular cleaning/changing of your filter will ensure the best filtration, increase the life of your machine, and give you peace of mind that you’re breathing easier.
To clean your ductless filter, first turn you unit off. Once the flaps are closed, lift the filter access panel. There are two tabs on either side of the unit. Then slide the panel into lock position.
Once ductless filters are exposed, push the filter out of lock position. Then gently pull them out.
Clean with warm water. Set aside and allow the ductless filters to dry thoroughly before replacing them. Once dry, replace filters in slots by sliding into position and clicking in.
Close flap down and click into position. Now you can restart your ductless system and get back to clean air.

Do you know where I can get replacements for the small recantgle paper like filters for these units?

I believe you’re talking about the hepa filters. They are different for every brand. Depending on the Brand and model you may be able to find them online. Or you may need to contact an HVAC company that sells the brand you have and see if they can order them from their distributor. You’ll need the model number off your indoor unit to find one that will fit the unit.
